That's been the trend lately whereas earlier in the season it was all trending North. The Central Coast has had an extremely wet couple months as that huge landslide and floods in Bute Inlet is a testament of that. Actually the pattern over the next couple weeks looks very un-La Niña like with California getting some potent weather systems possibly and we are kind of splitty and ridgy. I'd say hopefully this happens because they need the rain and we don't.

KIRO 7 weatherperson calling for snow over high elevations on Monday, first I’ve seen mention of snow other than in here
