Definitely more of a 2017/2018 vibe. Winter will be saved in late Feb early March. #backloaded

Euro went too far south. Things are still very much undecided.

Looking at the individual gfs members I think the euro's track is an outlier. But will have to wait to see the EPS.

Ensembles are kind of pointless at this range. The operationals are run at higher resolutionEsquimalt39 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:13 am Looking at the individual gfs members I think the euro's track is an outlier. But will have to wait to see the EPS.

Think this is a nowcast situation? Hilariously, I was worried it was too far north yesterday morning, but now I am worried it is too south. I think we are in the perfect spot right now because the RGEM and NAM still have it north of us, but would really appreciate a bit of consolidation lol.
The wrf looked really good for you and I this morning.

Used to live in the Comox Valley. A few times when visiting friends it was almost magical how the rain turned to snow just as you went under the Island highway bridge heading towards Cumberland. It reminded me of 'The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe'!

â€Â♂︠being around the midpoint of solutions right now isn’t a bad thing. Play the waiting game and see what happens. My gut is thinking the weaker southern track of the euro could be right. Mesoscale models often overdo the strength of low pressure at this range.

Yea as far as I'm concerned anything can happen at this point. Meanwhile environment canada still thinks 10 and rain here on Monday is happening. Tried explaining to my parents the possibilities but they didn't believe me lol.Monty wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:26 am â€Â♂︠being around the midpoint of solutions right now isn’t a bad thing. Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Not much precip either with a north or south track due to the orientation of the trough. Just looks like cold light rain if that in the LM.
This will either an Island or Puget Sound event.
