Yeah, the 00z didn't quite get there with the block at the end, but definite improvements in the mid range.

New forecast for Abbotsford.

Christmas Eve:

Heavy rain. High +16C. Southerly winds 70-100km/hr gusting 120km/hr

Evening: Heavy rain with thunderstorms changing to heavy snow. Temperature falling to -2C by morning. Snowfall amount 20-30cm. Northeast winds 70-100km/hr.

Christmas Day:

Heavy snow tapering off by noon. High -5C. Amount 10-15cm.

Evening: Heavy snow starting near midnight. Low -18C


Boxing Day:

Heavy snow. High -12C. Amount 20-40cm.

Evening: Roof collapse. Low -18C

As crazy as this sounds, minus the roof collapse, that kind of weather scenario would be a dream come true for me.
