Yeah, periods of flat ridging during the winter are generally precursors to arctic blasts as the ridge retrogrades and amplifies to the west. Pretty classic progression.

Not bad. The depth of the trough in the east is a bit concerning. But something around New Years looks possible based on that.

I took a short trip up Seymour last night after work. It was pretty busy. I can't imagine how busy it is today (no thanks!).
