10ËšC and rain again, yay! This winter is shaping up to be epic!
It's called clown range for a reason.

But enough about Princeton.

Cmon BlackberryMan..Princeton is part of Southern BC, which is the discussion group section I am in. Plus Glacier needs a buttee that can relate to the great winter weather in the interior. I dont want him feeling left out and isolated

I for one like hearing about the weather out there. The lower mainland is boring.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
But let's talk about the weather maps. A lot of you are looking several days.. even many weeks into the future all the way into January and that's great if that's what you like to do. Well let's not forget about the short-term here. This is the end of the warmth and I look forward to the next several days of cool wet weather where the mountains should benefit much.
Plus the future around here looks ok too

Wow. Tough one again. Amazing how that -pna is just folding like a cheap tent as reality comes into view. I'm pretty much throwing in the towel for December.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
I didn’t mean to imply the Princeton weather reports didn’t belong here. I meant to snarkily imply that the end of balmy conditions was only going to happen east of the mountains this winter.
And technically, my namesake is a type of raspberry, not a blackberry.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
And seriously, the only thing I would count on is that a big lowland snowstorm is probably not in the cards for the next week. Beyond that, it’s all clown range.

Persistent cold onshore flow is tough to come by these days.

True. But we're clearly stuck in a stubborn pattern of light troughing followed by mild bs. That alaska vortex is a monster.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:31 am And seriously, the only thing I would count on is that a big lowland snowstorm is probably not in the cards for the next week.
