Most of this cold air slides east after hour 240, but we're back in the game.

The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

00z GFS also shows a SSW event beginning near day 10. Interesting times ahead.

I know the AF takes some flack around here and deservedly so at times. However, I do enjoy it and there is a wealth of local weather knowledge on there.

Lots of cold air to the North, we just need a proper delivery method.

I checked in there, I have to disagree... They aren't quite as insane as we sometimes make them out to be. I certainly would rather avoid the place as much as possible. I just don't get their conversation style a lot of times, its like a non-stop inside joke. But there are some knowledgeable weather people there. And Tim has become humbled somehow so that's good for as long as it lasts. I think he got banned a while back.

Yeah, not sure what the doom and gloom is about. There are some positives, and for all we know things could flip to a more favourable solution.... or not.

Yeah Catnip, nothing better than cold rain around Christmas especially in Abby.
