Mentioned this before but I would probably contribute on that forum if not for characters like him. I'm sure I also speak for other members on this site as well on that point.Weather101 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:30 pm People like that are the worst, I promise you in person he would never act like that.

A few months ago he sent me some nasty PMs after I commented on the fires in September.Weather101 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:21 pm I was waiting for Jesse to say some dumb Sh*t again he's honestly such a condescending baby

Re: November 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Wow. Nice guy. One time someone there posted a link to a thread from like 10 years before so out of curiosity I clicked on it. I thought it was funny because the same guys were having the exact same arguments. Jesse vs Tim wet vs dry etc.

All that’s missing from that forum is Kevin Martin, for those that go back that far.

Re: November 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
What about the theory of upper atmosphere movement which increases as the earth warms. This warming cycles air in a way through the upper arctic atmosphere more and in turn “warms†the arctic but at the same time displaces the defending air in the arctic further south creating a less intense but chillier weather away from the poles increasing snowpacks and cold spells in cities.
wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 10:45 am From a climatological standpoint..it is very concerning to see a total absense of extreme cold in the poles right now. Sea ice coverage is at a record low. Long range models appear to depict colder values up near Hudson Bay and Nunavut in the 15-20 day range but temps are running 10-15C above normal near the poles.
I sound like an alarmist but the facts speak for themselves.
I tend to think one shouldn't go back that far as we are in a totally different climate. UHI indexes are more expansive but global climate shifts should be taken into account.
