I ended up with a storm total of 73.9 mm in my manual gauge vs. 70.2 mm for my Davis station.

Had several lightning strikes nearby early this evening, but only a quick shower and some hail that lasted a minute or two.

Komo

Gusty winds will also be part of the mix with gusts up to 50mph in some areas along the Cascade foothills and north of Seattle. While the wind is howling, the rain will be pounding this afternoon and evening. We expect to get a half inch of rain in Seattle by tomorrow morning. Areas in southwest Washington could see closer to an inch of rain by the end of the weekend. Highs today will hit the upper 40s.

Normally take these with a grain of salt but we could see a very warm and dry Tuesday morning. Strong southerly winds Tuesday afternoon but occluded front doesnt look to bring much moisture in the models...Looks very similar to the August 2015 storm.

I've been going back and forth on this. What's your guys' opinion, is it going to be warm on Tuesday?

Warm on Tuesday morning followed by gradual cooling throughout the afternoon with rain.
