Don't worry. It will likely be +10C and sunny seeing how the models handled the last storm...

I am up to 25 cm in the Pemberton Meadows from this storm. Losing all faith in the models... I guess we need those airplanes back.

Looks like the pineapples are short lived. Cool and wet prevails.
Looks like it will be difficult for anyone without a season pass to get up to Cypress. The weekend tickets are already sold out.

Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

If there was a warning, I wonder if you would have received that much.....

Who needs rainfall warnings eh?
I think I will do some hiking in the mountains tomorrow.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

If there was a warning we'd have been rainshadowed... that's usually how it works.

Abbotsford received similar amounts of rain to Burke Mountain. Thats rare.

Re: November 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Mt Baker is over 80cm from this storm alone already. They might get close to 100cm before it wraps up... I'm guessing they'll be open next week at some point, because the long term models appear pretty zonal other than the brief warmup which will be short lived. Too bad we can't go

Re: November 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Environment Canada adjusted their forecast for Abbotsford from 40-60 km/h winds to winds 50 gusting to 80 km/h.
As soon as they did that, the winds we did have eased off.
Classic.
