Of tree branches and leaves on Saturday.
Model solutions still vary but some suggest a serious windstorm that would cause severe damage. Others bring in less wind but heavy rain. Perhaps somewhere in the middle will verify? Time will tell and I image we'll see more flip flops in the upcoming runs.

Deep low tracking just to the south of us. Perfect setup for a major widespread snowstorm. If only there was arctic air in place or a legit arctic front pushing through.

This won't verify, but the 18z GFS was quite bullish with snowfall amounts.

Well just got back from Squamish and Cypress. Squamish was 4C, no precip, and surprisingly not that windy (it's almost always windy when I visit).

At highway 1 below Cypress it was 4-5C when I arrived around 3pm. When I left at 4pm, going back, at the same spot on the highway, it was +0.5C and snowing there! I was very surprised at how cold it got there in such a short time. I will post some pics shortly.

 be honest he should be put on notice to behave and get along with all on the forum. I'm not going to post if he acts like he did last winter. I hope l'm not alone in this thought.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Yup. Only stopped between 2 and 330.
Otherwise been snowing lightly since this morning.
Still no accumulations up here but the light dusting on the forest is sure nice.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Chunky rain from Sechelt to Roberts Creek but no white flakes. +2.1C right now, down from +5 at 2:30.
