You can move back to Fraser Heights if you have 1.2 Million for a house. Plus they are building a Popeye's Chicken here in the plaza. Odd choice, but hey...

No way! Super cool. I’ll be an instructor at Chinook out of CYXX in short order. Once COVID clears up I’d love to go fly if you’re up for it, always great to to pick the mind of an ATC as a pilot!

Major windstorm. Damaging southerlies from Nanaimo to Victoria if that verified. Gusts likely 90-110kmh. I’m heading to the okanagan this weekend so I expect a storm will happen. Probably a big power outage to stress my wife out while I’m away 😣

Those damaging 90-110 km/h gusts would affect Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley as well under a track like that right?

I'm wondering if the light precip we received during the day is a good thing, as it has allowed temps to remain cool during the day. Once the heavier precip moves in (it looks like its approaching the Island now), it shouldn't take long for it to change to snow. Or it may just end up starting as snow in some spots.

I think the early cloud cover has helped keeping temps cool. Hopefully the transition is swift once it begins.
