The 12z 3km NAM has light rain beginning around 4 PM and then changing to light snow from N to S after 5 PM. Could be a messy evening commute on the higher hills.

50/50. A lot of guidance suggests it will pass to our south and the models that do show a storm crossing Vancouver island have generally had the storm peaking to west and slowly weakening as it gets to the coast. Our really big storms generally have the low deepening as it reaches the coast. There is certainly potential for a storm but it’s too early to have much confidence
