Close but a weak to moderate NE surface wind leads to more efficient evaporative cooling.

Higher hills of North Surrey, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Maple Ridge and Abbotsford should get in some accumulation of wet snow.

This sounds like I should be expecting my first accumulating snow very soon. I like this. I’d like it even more if everyone could enjoy it though. Can’t wait!
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

I’ll take the GFS for 5-8cm IMBY please Alex!

Through, I don’t buy that solution. Unless a little area of low pressure spins up, these systems from the NW generally bring warmer air over here.

Well guys... With this impending possible first snow of the year...

This brings out the annual flamingo suit event. But with it being 2020 we must up the stakes.

If it snows 3.1cm or more Monday at YVR I will run across the street shirtless shotgunning a beer screaming for hawk to return on video.

Let the Games begin ..

Snow guns were on today at Cypress in the morning. It did this to the Black Mountain trail. Above that the lakes are starting to freeze over.

Weak deformation band in Mission is afternoon. Had to wait for it to move on before taking the kiddos out on their bikes. It sure cooled off after it moved through. As we were returning home from the ride there were a few wet flakes here at 70m elevation.
