Looking ahead, models are in good agreement much colder conditions will come around by the first weekend in November. After a warm start to the month, arctic air looks to plunge southward into the Lower 48. The Climate Prediction Center highlights the Northwest U.S. as having a slight risk of hazardous temperatures November 7-12, meaning well below temperatures (highs in the 40s) are anticipated through that time.
