Revelstoke had a big dump. The 27cm tall Gnome is buried.
Day umm
I hope to see the Kootenay slopes this year if they stay open.

Looking at the ensemble spread for next weekend and it’s clear that the models are lost beyond about 4-5 days right now.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! May we all have a lot of Turkey and stuffing today. Stock up on that egg nog and let's start singing Carols after today as Winter is coming!

I think there is a decent chance we will see wind warnings issued later today for tomorrow’s system.

Yeah. The GFS and GEM are slower with the low than the Euro, but decent track.

Yup. Definitely not the strongest windstorm we have seen but looks like a decent wind event nevertheless. I expect some wind warnings from Environment Canada either at the 4 PM update today or the 5 AM one tomorrow.

HRDPS rather deep with that low for Tuesday. Good track for significant winds across parts of Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, and Fraser Valley. Looks like an impressive early season wind event incoming.

Cold air slides east of the Rockies next weekend per 12z GFS. Euro and GEM look a lot closer with some pretty chilly air settling into the interior.

Euro shows it as well, but different timeframe. Nice to see nevertheless.
