Sea ice is trending towards zero and that is just basic fact, not opinion. The numbers easily bare this out. Last I checked this year came close to the 2012 sea ice minimum. Area and thickness continue to decline relatively rapidly.

Bah. Its frustrating but what are we gonna do. People's minds are all made up. Overall a pretty raw day. Temps peaked at 10.8c here at 10:30 and have fallen gradually since then. Currently 8.6c here in east coquitlam with moderate rain and gusty NE winds.
