EPS has a very chilly fall airmass setting into western Canada in the 6-10 day range.

That doesn't prove nor disprove anything. Sea ice moves very easily as its main driver is wind.

It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Going to be a wet turkey day afternoon and evening with a fairly uniform 15-30mm across the south coast.

Feeling very fall like this morning. Nanaimo dipped to 3.5C this morning. Clinton in the Cariboo is down to -5C

Tuesday is looking quite windy for some areas. Could see lower end wind warnings if model predictions hold. A strong SW wind late in the day seems likely

Enjoy it now. Iceagenow.com says we are at the edge of our next glaciation. Global temps should fall off the cliff any day now.

Nice to finally see some chilly lows around the region this AM. Been a warm fall thus far with few nights dipping below 10c.

September was top tier warm thanks to those warm nights. I think it was 2nd warmest at Shawnigan Lake, even with the smoke inversion

That was obviously a glacier, not sea ice.
It's called clown range for a reason.

That’s fairly early in the season for snow at the base elevation.

I’ve decided to focus my attention on this forum for the coming fall and winter and I’m most likely going to be cutting way back on my time in the American forum. If I post too much and get annoying feel free to let me know.
