October 2020 Forecasts and Discussions

Post by stuffradio »

Will we get our first frost this month? We're getting very close to when clown range snows can happen... just one month! Seems like this will be a warm month so far!

Warm Octobers are fine with me. Not sure if it really says anything about the upcoming winter.

It has been drier than mother###### since July 10th. I got 5 rain barrels, and connected them all on July 10th to collect rain off my roof. After two months I had three inches in one barrel and nothing in the rest. Almost a month later, and that one barrel is 3/4 full and the rest still empty, and summer is coming to an end in the interior so I now have to drain it.

Just wondering but is the air quality in the PG area really that bad? I know it was bad two summers ago but that was unusual.

Also, is PG kinda dumpy? I've never been there but I get bad impressions from people; don't know if it's legit. The climate is A+++ though.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

I've been to PG multiple times and the smell of the nearby pulp mill is always noticable. I suppose after a while you just get used to it though.

I wouldn't classify it as dumpy but it does have its rough spots, along with most towns up north.

Quite warm in the central interior yesterday, both on the coast and in the interior. Both low elevation and high elevation. I should have highlighted Blue River too.

Euro is super wet next week. Wow, has the most rain out of all 3 models... in fact it has significantly higher totals than the GEM. I don't remember the last time that happened. :o
