Re: September 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
At least we haven't been stuck in the smoke all summer. But it would be nice to finally clear it all out.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 11:10 am Rain has begun vanishing from the model runs.
No rain for the next 10-14 days. No reprieve from this smoke.
At this point we need a powerful W-E oriented low to suck the smoke from the lower troposphere and eject it eastward. This seems unlikely within the next 2 weeks.

I am legitimately depressed. This is a horrible situation.

Me and my big mouth, shooting it off last July on how the late start to summer made a smoke-fest less likely.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Once that low moves onshore it will scour out the smoke. Not good for mid-week though.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 3:26 pm Me and my big mouth, shooting it off last July on how the late start to summer made a smoke-fest less likely.

Big area of rain moving NE onto Van Island and hopefully making it to the LM . Defintely more than a 30% chance of showers! Good news we need it.

Disgusting split flow on some model runs through the end of the month. Thankfully not Oct/Nov or we would be talking about a very bad inversion

Re: September 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Reported for being an off topic d-bag. I encourage other posters who feel the same to do the same. I'm not a teacher but I am an SSA. I work under a teacher who is the hardest working person, most respectable human I've had the pleasure of working for. What do you do in comparison? You troll a weather forum with utterly useless political trash that literally nobody needs right now. You must be so proud of your life's accomplishmentsJohn wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 1:33 pm https://mobile.twitter.com/bctf/status/ ... 7419623424
