Perfect day for a hike again, not too hot, not too cold, right blend of blue and grey.

Re: August 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Hey everyone!
There was a bit of drama due to off-topic posts but thankfully everyone seems to have let it drop. I'm not going to delete or move the posts that were already made but if everyone could talk about controversial topics on a fresh thread, that would be much appreciated.
Personally, I think it is reasonable that members have somewhere to go that they don't have to read about politics, Covid, racial issues and other stressful current events. And I'm not saying don't talk about it at all. Feel free to do so, on a separate thread. I think that's a nice middle ground where everyone can be happy, right? People who want to talk about current/polarizing issues can do so and people who want to just take a break from it all and focus on their weather hobby may also do so. I think this is fair.
And please, if you DO wish to discuss polarizing topics on another thread, please keep it respectful. We are all allowed our opinion even IF it's not the opinion WE wish others would have.
Thanks for everyone's cooperation on this. We have such a great group of people here and I although I wish I could make everyone happy in terms of forum rules, I think that's impossible sometimes. But I think we can all agree to meet in the middle and that's what I have tried to do here today.

Re: August 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
That would be the Rainbow Lake lookout up near Hanging Lake a bit further up from the top of Rainbow Lake. Got there just as the fog rolled in, so pretty cool! The rest of the photos are all along the Rainbow Trail. Out and back to the lookout is approximately 20 km, net elevation gain around 900 m.

I hate the heat, But I must admit September heat is pretty nice... The nights cool down nicely due to the sun going down earlier so you can sleep better. The days never get too hot especially near YVR I don't expect to get above 24c.
All about them Cowboys !!!
