If you want to talk about daily cases (etc.), watch TV or go on another forum. At least, you could create a new topic on the appropriate section (as for sports, politics, etc.).
Thanks.
Dude we NEVER talk about daily cases you just think you dictate everything. You see one post in 2 months about covid or even a happy canucks fan you lose your Sh*t. I'd agree with you if it was every day but it isn't and it's a pandemic so what do you expect ? Scroll past it man stop being a child.

Latest ensembles still look dry into the long range. Perhaps a stray shower on occasion but nothing significant.

Yeah its a little tough to create conversations about this very average banal weather (my favourite kind in the summer weather  ). So it seems like a bit much of a reaction, even though i will agree certain posters definitely post 95% political stuff.
The current events/political stuff thread should theoretically be hopping but it doesn't get enough traffic to divert from the weather forum. Seems to just be a part of the forum. At least were not the AF?

Latest gfs sticking with the warm labour day solution.

Pretty warm following week as well with temps nearing 30C inland. Still pretty long range stuff so subject to change.

Sea surface temp anomalies in all ENSO regions remain below normal. Weak La Nina at the least for the fall/winter.

00z GFS shows a quick shot of showers Sunday evening into early Monday. Nothing significant...~3-6mm across the lower mainland.

Labour Day week still looks nice and warm.

Oh well , just don't cancel our winter

And what does sports have to do with governments, police departments, police actions, and police training?

Cancel culture needs to be cancelled.

Bottom line, All Lives Matter. But what would happen if someone wore a t-shirt that said that?

I agree with you with the cancel culture..

But seriously ? Don't start with that all lives matter racist crap. The only reason they say " Black lives matter" is because the cops keep killing African Americans without a reason, The way black people have been mistreated. If they were treated like everyone else this wouldn't be a issue. So that all lives matter is a load of b.s and takes away from the point, If it pisses you off then you are the issue. Black Lives matter because of how the hell they get treated so don't be that person to make it about you.

It's like you saying to your wife, Do you love our sex? And she replies " I love all sex" sounds dumb doesn't it eh?

W101 I don't disagree with you but I'm reluctantly going to to say we have to stop calling it racist and other labels. If our younger generation can debate and explain things in a more measured tone, itll go a long way and I'm guilty as charged.

I do wish the usa could address its institutional racism but I am not sure that the old school folks will have it. Its become too deeply ingrained to see if you are in it.

Sports professionals are only doing what they can. If you are against this, you are at odds with our young Canucks who were at the forefront of the postponement.

Perhaps we should all  to the politically sports thread?

I encourage you to listen to this podcast for some understanding on why players would want to protest like this.
https://www.cbc.ca/radio/frontburner/th ... 20justice. Sports players are in solidarity with other players that have experienced this discrimination and say no more. Can it be effective? Yes.
