The island often seems to get the first round... the second round usually comes more inland.

Heard thunder, saw lightning. One of each so far in South Vancouver.

I was watching some of the live webcams around Lower BC and say some great lightning. Guess that's as close as we can get.

Just got 3 rumbles of thunder in pretty rapid succession here

Edit: 6 rumbles, saw lightning 3 times.

Thing that pisses me off about all the idiots posting on twitter, is they don't say WHERE the photo or video is from.. they just tag it #bcstorm. So it could be anywhere. Morons. :problem:

Just saw a flash of lightning followed closely by thunder.

Edit: and now it's pouring rain.

Pretty decent thunderstorm, usually we get a couple of flashes and that's it's. 1 am and I can still hear it.

Also, it's still 20.5C outside at 1 am! Holding pretty steady.

I've only heard one rumble. 😥 Looks like we miss the fun? Or is more coming? I thought we weren't supposed to even have storms until tomorrow morning.

I finally heard 1 thunder, but nothing yet. Had a huge downpour though. Now it's hot AND humid. Joy. If we get some damn thunder it would be worth it.

*Nito is lucky if he has a view. I have too many trees around.
