The weather has been super boring most of the late spring and summer. I have high hopes for winter though.

Problem with rain gauge of Pitt Meadows. It hasn't rained since mid-July...

Wow! Look at that corn! They Corn Guy is coming up here with corn already. It's really good and super fresh, I haven't been yet this year.

Wonder if they'll bring thunderstorms. We have a chance tomorrow morning with 60% chance of showers.

Getting thunderstorms here is like the canucks winning the cup... Come close once or twice but no payoff

Got any analogues you're looking at for the winter so far?

Why would that be a joke?... That's a pretty messed up joke. It was not a fun experience, Started off like nothing then your sitting there covered in sweat struggling to breath.
But I was wondering if anyone's families had to deal with it? I had a friend who spent a month in the hospital, but another friend who was only sick for a day with a sore thoart and was fine. Seems like there's different strains going around that hit people differently. A co worker had it twice in a span of 4 months so it's weird.

I like our chances for some elevated t storms later tonight. This feels right to me. Should be high based storms so hopefully some nice lightning shots.

I probably just jinxed us.

None confirmed.

I may have had it for the first week of May. My feet were ice cold, blood rushed to my head whenever I'd lay down, and overall had very low energy and fatigue. It was very strange because the main symptom was the light-headedness/blood rush and I've never felt that before. Had some pains in the chest as well as the heart area if I was physically active (which I was for a day). No coughing though. If I had a fever, it was very mild.

Some altocumulus moving up from the south here at times.

Hit 33.7C here this afternoon. Not far off my highest reading of 34.4 at this location. (Since 2014)

According to ventusky, massive CAPE values around Agassiz/Hope, ~6000 J/kg. :damn: :wish:
