Saanichton is a very good location.

EDIT: Although, maybe it a bit too close to the road there...

I went to Victoria this weekend and passed near of this station (Saanichton). I couldn't take a photo of it but there's now a greenhouse behind the weather screen. Still a good location IMO.

Saanichton has a new automated station there called "Saanichton CFIA." It start last February, and records the hourly and daily extremes. The old manual station called "Saanichton CDA" still exists as well.

Tatlayoko Lake... good location...

Clinton RCS... good site location, but poor maintenance. For one, the wind tower was laying on the ground (sorry, I didn't take a picture of it).

We were at Davison Orchards today in Vernon, and noticed that the old "Vernon Bella Vista" is still there...

Luckily no neighbours called the cops on me. :cops: it's next to Chehalis park in south Sardis.
excellent location all grass around the Stevenson screen. Maybe it can be moved to the weather station photos thread.

Terrible location! No wonder why it's always so hot there! Or is the picture showing it closer to the house than it really is?

You should have jumped over the fence and gotten pictures from other angles... but don't laugh, there a guy who has been doing straight line challenges in Europe. In the first one I watched he did a straight line across Wales. He did a lot of trespassing and tried not to get caught. When he did get caught he would explain what he was doing and usually be allowed to keep going.

To take a picture of such an important monument as a weather station, that's certainly a noble cause worth trespassing for.

EDIT: is this the same location as the one that went offline in 2017?

 good point Mr. freezy but the house is across the park and l didn't want to walk over there and hang over his fence.
I'm not sure l believe this is a fairly new location the houses in the area were built in or around 2014.

Oops, the old station closed in 2014... and was near Walden Park, so a lot further north.
