Some blue patches showing in the overcast. Already brighter than it got all day yesterday.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Wow, those ensembles are painting a bleak picture if you want heat. This truly could be 2011 all over again. That was my first summer in town and I remember getting fairly annoyed at the lack of sunshine.

Re: July 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Summer did eventually turn up in 2011. August and September were both decent (typical summer dry spell), though even Pitt Meadows didn't crack the 30 degree mark that year.

Re: July 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
I guess technically we are already ahead of 2011 considering I did crack 30C this year already in May.
This trough can't sit here all summer, can it?!

It would have been more accurate if it said Summer isn’t available in your region.

I can only imagine how bad the mosquitoes must be up there this summer.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 9:04 pm merlin_173775192_37c46c0e-e013-4053-bf5a-c0a3cf7f8ec8-jumbo.jpg
On June 20, the high temperature in Verkhoyansk, a town in northeast Russia about 260 miles south of the Arctic coast and about 6 miles north of the Arctic Circle, topped out at 38 degrees Celsius, or 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
Siberia, one of the world's coldest places in winter, reached 100 degrees (F) this year before Dallas or Houston did.
To escape the heat, children were seen swimming in a lake near Verkhoyansk, Sunday, a lake that would be frozen solid in the depths of winter, when average temperatures in Russia's "Pole of Cold" typically plunge into the minus 40s and 50s Celsius.
Maybe we should move to Siberia?

Painting my house this week. Scheduled it for this week because summer ALWAYS starts July 5th in the PNW. I'm happy with anything other than snow, rain and heavy wind.

The mosquitos are ruthless over here. Tons of places for them to breed here on the farm.

Enjoying my summer holiday's this week despite the crapola weather.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.
