Happy Day!
Bring back December where we can easily hit 18°C. #nito
That's exactly what I told my wife as we drove to west van to try to enjoy our anniversary in the ambleside dundarave area. Bought some lunch at wholefoods and ate in the car at ambleside beach. Then cancelled our patio dinner at cactus club and came home earlier than anticipated with Chinese food. Worst Canada day weather that I can remember. But we still went for a nice rainy and damp walk along the seawalk, and sang a stirring rendition of Mr. Rogers Beautiful day in the Neighborhood.
Ah thanks mate this was the exact stat I was looking for!
Hum, I don't know exactly. Maybe top 10.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 7:48 pm Edit: of all the YVR July lowest maximums, where does this rank?
1999 was a very cold July for parts of the west. Calgary even got some snow that month.Canada Goose wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 6:39 pm Max of 13.8°C in Lytton, coldest high in July since 1999 when it was 13.3°C and 11.8°C on July 2 & 3 (monthly record).
During these 2 days, the daytime high didn't go above 11°C... Crazy.
