There’s a 99.9% chance that 2020 will end up in the top 5 warmest years on record (and it has a good shot at being the warmest), meaning that the 7 warmest years on record will have been the last 7 years.
Looks like the super warm anomaly in Russia moved a bit east.

Better get the car pollution back. This COVID not driving and polluting things made the earth too warm.

Just wait. We will go from 22 to 39 in 3 weeks.
Then I will say this sucks and bring back the cold.

Not completely yet but most people have gone back to normal at least out here. Maybe it’s different in the big city?

Re: June 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
The pandemic is exploding in many areas (USA, Latin America, India). In BC it's only been contained due to excellent government leadership and the continued sacrifice of people. Saying it's over will give people the wrong idea, aka let's go back to "normal". People need to stay vigilant so we can continue to enjoy at least a partial reopening. In fact, if we increase out contacts to even 65%, we risk a resurgence of the disease.

Re: June 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Was it in earlier threads where it was thrown around that this spring and June is analogous to '11 & '12? I agree. Also throw in '95 into the mix. I remember a miserable June in the Okanagan. Winnipeg had near record heat then too. (I've been lurking for the past couple months, not posting. With three kids age three and under, life is a gong show which leaves little time for hobbies).

Guess which station just might have problems with its sensor being sited in an unrepresentative location? (Note that this is not the first time I’ve seen this; it’s a pattern.)
I’m going to try and figure out exactly where it is and pay it a visit. Bet it’s in or near a patch of blacktop or near a south-facing wall that bakes in the sun. Or both.

Re: June 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
We just have to remember to still try to social distance and keep our own little bubble and wash our hands. I know a lot of people are back to work and that’s great. But this is far from over, we will be walking a fine line for another reassurance as they said. So far so good but this can turn bad in a hurry since there’s still transmission out there.

Re: June 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
I went for a drive around Lower Lonsdale last week when the weather was nice. It was either Wednesday or Thursday.
Anyway, restaurants were full, sidewalks were full, people were lined up outside of Earnest. Things seemed pretty normal but I was kinda surprised.
Looked like a Friday night.
