Wasnt following what was happening in the interior but there looks to be major severe tstorm potential. Almost see a straight-line boundary with strong winds ahead of it. Could see this generate large hail, strong winds and potential gustnadoes.

That storm heading North of Salmon Arm is packing a bite though.

We have no velocity radar up there but the UW radar is telling....potential mesocyclone just due WSW of Salmon Arm.

I miss summer storms in the interior. We just cant seem to score a few thunderstorms here.

YXX has yet to hit 20C this month, and the average high to date is a chilly 17.4C...for reference it was 19.5C in May.

So the average high is about a degree below the long term average? What is abnormal about that? I think we've seen so many extreme +anomalies in recent years that people are getting a skewed perception of this climate.

June average high @YXX is 20.8C.

3.4 degrees below average as of yesterday.
