Wasnt following what was happening in the interior but there looks to be major severe tstorm potential. Almost see a straight-line boundary with strong winds ahead of it. Could see this generate large hail, strong winds and potential gustnadoes.

That storm heading North of Salmon Arm is packing a bite though.
We have no velocity radar up there but the UW radar is telling....potential mesocyclone just due WSW of Salmon Arm.

00z delays summer yet again...shows we will have to wait until next Thursday for our next rain-free day.

Re: June 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
YXX has yet to hit 20C this month, and the average high to date is a chilly 17.4C...for reference it was 19.5C in May.
In no way is this "normal".

Re: June 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
So the average high is about a degree below the long term average? What is abnormal about that? I think we've seen so many extreme +anomalies in recent years that people are getting a skewed perception of this climate.

Still within the range of natural variation. That's what the "normal" is.
