Yeah, once the temp climbs above ~25C I close the windows till evening when temps being to dip again. Summer nights around here are cool (13-16C)...placing a fan next to an open window overnight makes for pleasant nights except during exceptional heatwaves

A ways off but the 00z GFS looks warm in the 7-10 day range.

850mb temps on the 00z ensembles peak around 15C to close out the month...would correspond to ~25c-32c temps across the region, depending on location.

It was snowing in the Chilcotin this morning.

Expect snow tonight in the usual mountain passes (Pennask Summit, Kootenay Pass, etc.).

Funnel cloud in Vancouver 2 weeks ago
Supercell development near Lynden with a meso vortex last week
EF0 tornado near Saanich today.

Funnel clouds are spotted from time to time but the last 2 weeks have been insane.
