This is not out of the ordinary for Alberta. Early April 2018 was much colder than this year.

Well said C79.Coquitlam79 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 3:02 am If they really want people to stay put they may have to start roadblocks or checkpoints on out of town highways. Including the sea to sky. The last thing a small town needs at this time is hordes of people from the city coming in and potentially spreading the virus to an area that may not be able to handle an outbreak. Locals only and commercial traffic until end of May to go along with the Parks closures around the province.

Yeah that southern Alberta corridor seems to get hit the hardest with spring snow storms.

Re: April 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
The numbers are lagging though the totals we see from today are from the state of the province 2 weeks ago so it's misleading really. If the number of cases started dropping 2 weeks ago then 2 weeks from now should be even more as hopefully ppl have listened about shelter in place and social distancing. I read an article published in the U.K. that says a vaccine could be ready as soon as Sept.

Who made the comment we are lucky to be in Canada compared to the gong show going on state side? I couldn't find it, or was it taken down.
