And they should stay away.

I've been self-isolated for almost a month though, so I'm good. 8-)
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Haven't left my farm since 13 days ago and about 2 weeks before that. It's been weird, but honestly kinda nice. Getting things done, spending time with the dog and playing music and learning to record. Looking forward to this dry stretch and spending more time outdoors!

If they really want people to stay put they may have to start roadblocks or checkpoints on out of town highways. Including the sea to sky. The last thing a small town needs at this time is hordes of people from the city coming in and potentially spreading the virus to an area that may not be able to handle an outbreak. Locals only and commercial traffic until end of May to go along with the Parks closures around the province.

Whoa the 00z is basically dry until the 26th! Insane. April drought. The north Pacific high is in July mode. Never seen anything like this so early. Pattern lock to the extreme.

That's good that it's happening now. This will garner very pleasant weather here. If it had been in May or later, maybe a bit too warm.

I think we are a bit lucky here, our number of cases have been sporadic or batched for the most part. but that also means that things spring up like the Mission penitentiary.
not sure if any of you have seen the John's Hopkins Covid-19 map? 102,000+ of confirmed cases (or in some countries admitted cases) dead, over 6% mortality of testes/confirmed cases.

I can say that financial institutions are assuming we are isolated until July.

eta: it's gorgeous out today, walked to the grocery store and was actually warm! :lsunny:
anyone notice how quickly it warmed up this morning?

Yes if it's in May this would be an early season heat wave.
