Rex block setting up for next week. I've attached Wednesday's GEM Global. All the long range models are showing a similar pattern. Highs in the mid teens to near 20?

Re: April 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
If this was Dec-Feb it would be a few degrees colder... Mind you perhaps not wet enough but would make it accumulate and daytime highs probably around freezing lol

Colder nights ahead. Another weak low drops down south Thurs night into Friday. Models converging on potential for significent lowland snow on Friday with some areas maybe seeing 10cm by Friday morning. But we rapidly warm up and see +20C on Sunday.
...
Check the date and time this was posted.
For real...maybe more flurries ahead.
This was supposed to be an April fools joke. My coworker showed me a pic near Cultus Lake. 5cm and still snowing.
It also looks like temps could reach the mid teens by Sunday.

Slushy rain just changed to wet snow in north Bellingham.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: April 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Like I said, April foolery is best when it’s something totally outlandish, and a forecast of up to 10cm really wasn’t all that outlandish, given the current pattern. Everyone acts like April snow is unprecedented when it happens, but I’ve seen it happen more than once. It’s unusual, to be sure, but hardly unprecedented.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 12:23 pm This was supposed to be an April fools joke.
