Very interesting setup the next few days.

Colder nights ahead. Another weak low drops down south Thurs night into Friday. Models converging on potential for significent lowland snow on Friday with some areas maybe seeing 10cm by Friday morning. But we rapidly warm up and see +20C on Sunday.

Check the date and time this was posted. :P

For real...maybe more flurries ahead.

The best April foolery lies in making people believe something outlandish. Up to 10 cm of snow on Friday really isn’t that outlandish a scenario, given how cool it’s been this spring, and given that there already have been flurries down to the lowest elevations today. April snow is unusual in this climate, but it’s hardly unprecedented.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Does Westwood Plateau and Heritage Mountain get more rain then the lower elevations around Coquitlam Centre? I've always wondered.

Yes, probably. More clouds, more fog, more rain, more snow.

Thats whats I would assume. Further you go into the mountains, the more rain and snow you will get on average.
