Wow, Whistler shut off all it's webcams. No reason for that as that has never happened before.

I'm having trouble believing it's still March! between the virus, the ineptitude south of us (and boy is that worrisome :omgintense: ) and a market that is so twitchy that the least positive news or speculation sends it into a nose dive I'm exhausted at the end of each day.

it was really nice to wake up to sun this morning though! it just needs to warm up now, so chilly these days.

Low snow levels tomorrow...Lots of snow above ~800m.

GFS still looks quite chilly for mid-late week. Sub-504 thickness values into the interior. Flurries followed by a couple hard freezes.

Yes, nice day today. High of 13.2° , felt the warmth of the Sun sitting down at a picnic table at crescent park, a last second decision after seeing all the cars going to crescent beach, it must have been an absolute zoo down there. Everyone with the same idea especially with white rock beach pretty well closed.
Nothing wrong with going out somewhere if you play it smart. Went for a drive yesterday to Aldergrove park, walked the trails and took some photos of Pepin Brook.

An interesting song for these troubled times
https://youtu.be/NKjgJ3oLJqE
Don't the hours grow shorter as the days go by
You never get to stop and open your eyes
One day you're waiting for the sky to fall
The next you're dazzled by the beauty of it all
When you're lovers in a dangerous time
Lovers in a dangerous time
These fragile bodies of touch and taste
This vibrant skin, this hair like lace
Spirits open to the thrust of grace
Never a breath you can afford to waste
When you're lovers in a dangerous time
Lovers in a dangerous time
When you're lovers in a dangerous time
Lovers in a dangerous time
When you're lovers in a dangerous time
Sometimes you're made to feel as if your love's a crime
But nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight
Got to kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight
When you're lovers in a dangerous time
Lovers in a dangerous time
