Re: March 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Wow, so sad to look at the local ski hills web cams see all that fresh snow, and no one to enjoy it actually felt abit emotional over it. I've been doing my part in this whole mess but "sheet" when can we have normal life back. It's bad when the store doesn't even have my favorite cereal this is getting ridicoulous.
Anyone care to post their favorite food item that has suddenly disappeared through all this. And what happened to everyone 1 post in 24 hours it's o.k. to breath fresh air it's not air borne.

Ahh, but Mr. Kells you have the best chance of survival with your 5 acre distancing wall you have there, last man standing.PortKells wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 3:29 pm Looks like Victoria is getting a downpour. Kind of hoping to avoid that right now to be honest. Lets have the downpours at night. Ugh, what a depressing turn of events now with the rain and no skiing to make it all worthwhile. Not that a lack of skiing is a true problem in current events but its what I'm choosing to B*tch about anyways.

So uh how is everyone doing?
Nice rainy day today. This month has been so sunny that I didn't mind the rain. Definitely needed that long break from it though after the Sh*t this winter!

Weather's super boring, nothing else to talk about... no sports, movies, skiing, events, etc.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 9:34 pm Wow, so sad to look at the local ski hills web cams see all that fresh snow, and no one to enjoy it actually felt abit emotional over it. Virus made everyone forget about climate change, politics, etc.
Or maybe people are too emotionally exhausted to post.

I would have driven up to Cypress today if they hadn't closed down the road way down the mountain.

Yes all good points Abby_wx, I think as the day's are going on the numbness of it all is just becoming a part of our lives. At first the words pandemic, and state of emergency or national emergency sounded to unreal and scary or couldn't imagine this happening. But seeing the positive like the 7p.m. cheering for frontline workers or the positive videos posted from quarantined ppl. have been uplifting. However I've stopped watching a full 1 hour newscast on it.

Re: March 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
It will be interesting to see what (positive) effect this almost worldwide lockdown will have on the climate.

Yeah I drove up to Cypress on March 6th (didn't get out) and it was packed, on a Friday early afternoon.
It was absolutely beautiful though after a fresh snowfall and blue skies.
