I was in the “cold and snowy” camp last fall, mainly because of the analogue years that started out with early-season cold outbreaks. But still, I can’t understand the drama on the AF. A few promising clown-range model runs and everyone acts as if snow and cold are a sure thing, then gets so annoyed when the rug gets pulled. As if it’s not called clown range for a reason. It’s why I put the tag line I did in my signature.

Snow is never a sure thing around these parts until it is falling from the sky.

Agree... l go to that forum for some good indepth analysis, but when it goes the circus route l give up. There's some good ppl on there, up here we kinda just fade back to our lives disappear until the next fun begins.

I love the long-range operational GFS... it gets up to 12 or 13C in Abbotsford!

Something to consider, the GEM since its upgrade has had marginally better verification scores than the GFS.
