As mentioned already, daytime heating and the lack of any real heavy precip is not very encouraging thus far.

Hopefully things pick up soon or Hawk will be building a slush man.

Tsawwassen looks wet on the highway cams but turns white just North near Hwy 17/17A heading to Ladner. Hopefully we get some heavier precip later this morning to help keep the temperature down. Still light snow here and 0.4c, probably have a 2-3 cm now.
Currently located in Tsawwassen, beside Tsawwassen Mills

Snow picking up here. Looks like Western sections have scored so far. Still only about 1cm here.

Snow intensity picking up now , had light snow for the last couple hrs with not much accumulation, flakes seem too wet and small.
Currently 1.6° , low was 1°

The heavier bands of snow were always forecasted to arrive around 1300 on mesoscale models.

A light snow falling here. Has picked up in intensity over the last hour. The road is starting to accumulate snow....slowly.
