Cold rain? I thought you said dry? Models still looks dry to me.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 8:18 am Backdoor arctic intrusion and you can tell. Didnt cool down much last night with the clear sky.
Models presenting no hope for a pattern change. Chilly WNW flow, no more arctic air though so 500m snow levels with cold rain (mixed with slush at times) for the LM. Really good for spring skiing.

That's good news for the skiers for sure. Hoping to repeat last year and ski into April. Hopefully April is not as cold then straight into hot ass may this timewetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 24, 2019 8:18 am Backdoor arctic intrusion and you can tell. Didnt cool down much last night with the clear sky.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Next 7 days or so look pretty dry though you can’t rule out some light precip at times later this week.
Days 10-15 on the EPS. Looks like a milder version of what we have now.

Works for me. Loving the cool temps.
When it gets warmer, I'm not looking forward to being sweaty when I get to work in the morning (I take public transit).
I am hoping for a cool spring/summer for once. And no smoke, please!

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Some wet flurries but didn’t amount to much. Mixed with rain at times. Looks like some places picked up ~5cm, but it was spotty and elevation helped. It actually warmed some when the NE wind kicked in, as there was some warm air over the strait.
