I'd say 4-5C for Abbotsford, maybe 7C for Vancouver.

Yeah Subfreezing highs can occur thru to late March. It takes an exceptionally cold airmass and persistent precip or cloudcover to achieve that...see March 2002 as an example.

Under full sunshine, it's extremely rare. March 1896 or 1897 are probably the only times it's happened.

Sounds about right. Lows could dip well below 0C in areas not under outflow influence.

True and March 1951 had a lot of cloudcover and precip because it was like a non-stop snow event for several days.

With 850mb temps approaching -12C, some of the colder pockets like Pitt Meadows could see some very impressive lows. A few -8s wouldn't surprise me.

Ahhhhhh catnip...I see why u still want more of this pattern as you sit in a foot of nice springtime snows. What a difference 500 feet makes. Wow. While most of the rest of us are dealing with sloppy slush for the most part. Plus u seem to be in a major snow belt. I think all the trees keep your area cooler

The Mundy Park area does very well every winter. Didn't you say you used to live near Como Lake? You should have stayed there

Yes I lived there as a teen. I had to fly the coop eventually...so to speak.
Yes notice how the area immediately adjacent to the park always gets a lot more snow?
