Yep, very dry.
This pattern is giving me Dec 2013, Feb 2014 or Jan 2017 vibes. But since we're so late in the winter season highs will be well above zero.

Sun is finally coming out but it's still raining.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Looks like fairly strong outflow winds redevelop out in the Fraser Valley Monday though.

I was going to say December or January, but yeah... fat chance.

8C-11C seems like a bit of a stretch. I'm thinking 6C-7C highs on Monday.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 3:11 pm With a downsloping component to start. +8 to +11 on Mon?
NAM 3km is a bit cooler...going for 4C-5C highs on Monday.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Sunny here, yet it is still snowing on Grouse.
The trees are absolutely caked down pretty far. Very pretty today and it should be even prettier tomorrow once these clouds go away.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Even in a cold airmass...we're getting into spring now and won't see highs below 0C until next November.
Sunny 12C/-5C days would be lovely. We don't normally get huge diurnal spreads here.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
To be fair, March 1951 had several days below 0C at YXX. One day got down to -6C as a high. So technically in rare cases, its possible.
