For the first time I have ever lived here there are road crews ploughing and salting the hilly side streets including a john deer tractor out there! Wow!! Unbelievable!!

Unlike the winter we had three years back when we had icy streets for weeks and no garbage pick up for 6 weeks!

Yes I preferred that living in Maple Ridge as a kid for a while. Bumper skiing..donuts in snowy and icy parking lots. It was great. Now they pollute the environment too much to keep the roads clear. Sad..but a necessity I suppose for all the useless drivers out there
