Yes even some lower lying areas..prolly yours gets more snow than it shud due to location. Lil micro climate where you get more snow than your 25m elevation would dictate.

This cell moving West now is intensifying. Looking good buttees. Its growing and I may get a piece of it too.

:dunno:

Fcuk. Forgot my password. Finally figured it out. I used the forgot password option several times but never got an email.

Anyway, snowed for about an hour here this morning. 3-4cm. The flakes were huge, so it was hard to measure as the snow was so lumpy.

That's really good for you guys considering this system is coming in from the NW. Normally shadows the south island.

Sorry to hear of the technical difficulties. It was a nice 2 hour "downpour" in many areas here too.

Just checked the BCFerries cameras https://www.bcferries.com/current_condi ... bcams.html
It's sunny and dry in Nanaimo.

Check out the mountain of snow at Departure Bay https://orca.bcferries.com/cc/marqui/ca ... 2&dept=NAN

Still snowing in North Van (reminder of location: Edgemont Village 90 m ASL)
It's a very wet snow which is definitely melting faster than it's accumulating, but it IS 100% snow
