Another GFS run. Meh. We need those ensembles tanking within 7-8 days. That PNA looks good, what are we waiting for?

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
It’s been fairly consistent in the longer term... I’ll give it that.
Until that timing moves up though.......

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
It's really simple...we need COLD AIR to descend into southern BC. No cold air means no snow. And it's been mild...above normal temps wont get us any snow..maybe some slushy events.

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
The storm track last 2 months hasn't been favorable at all. Split flow and bommy ridging = dry and mild. Now we have an active jet but mostly a W/ SW flow. Is the pattern going to change again so soon? To cold and snow?
I'm thinking not..but hope I'm wrong so we all can enjoy the snow.
Cue Nito..where are you??

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
I think it may still get there. Short term not as good.
I think we just need to concentrate on the first 4/5 days. Who know what happens after that.
