That's not good. You might need to take a step back from model riding and like you said, find more things to enjoy besides hope in snowy weather.

That PNA forecast is garbage right now.

So all 3 ensembles, which show excellent agreement, have it wrong? Highly unlikely.

All 3 ensembles were completely off with the evolution of the Jan 2nd-Jan 7th pattern.

The PNA forecasts aren’t magical. They are based off models just like all forecasts and likely have a similar skill score.

Exactly.

Hey look, block sets up in a favorable position with a kona low. One issue is that the PV has retracted so theres little cold air to work with.
