Certainly not perfect but what makes you think way off? Looks like a backdoor blast, which can still bring low elevation snows. Were you hoping it would show a legit arctic front? Its also trends we are looking for and each run recently has been trending more and more in our favour.

I meant way off as in timing. Days 9-15. Pattern is really good. I wouldn’t consider it backdoor when the cold is originating to our north.

I was just looking at the 850 temperature anomalies. I didn't see any -15C in Central BC so I assumed it was backdoor. Correct me if I'm wrong? You know more than I do. This does look promising given the Euro ensembles are very reliable. It was the only model that handled the February 2019 blast perfectly in the long range. Picked up on it first, stayed consistent, and verified.

12z Nam is even better than 06z for higher elevations.

Merry Christmas!

Looks like we may potentially have some something to track once we get into the new year. Here’s hoping!

Merry Christmas! We look to score about 5-10 as a boxing day treat in the Pemberton meadows, and another reasonable event on Saturday as well.
