We got our Mountain snow...and going up there today. That alone is a win.

Dry and crisp for the week! Should see some frost on Christmas if the clouds stay away.

Weather wise, a beautiful view of the North Shore mountains this morning. You can see a nicely defined snow line.
Yea our first one was super easy. Almost never cried. Put her down and she’d fall asleep or entertain herself

Mt Washington had a nice snowfall overnight. Their 72cm base is pretty skinny but they have opened up some terrain. A friend of ours son quite is job with the dream of being a lift operator for the winter and spending all his time up on the mountain working or skiing, so he his pretty happy.

My first is coming in 10 weeks or less. I can't wait!

The 6Z GFS operational didn't look super cold, unfortunately.

Exciting times. Both of ours came a few weeks early so be prepared. I wish mom and baby good health.

Improvements on the Euro ensembles. While there is still a +EPO signal, there is also a -PNA signal shown. A few tweaks to the EPO and this could turn into an arctic pattern for the PNW. I also like that the trough has been trending west from previous runs. In any case, its better than the persistent split flow regime we've had to endure for so long.

Wow! If I heard correctly, Joe Bastardi thinks its going to get wickedly cold in the West before the cold eventually goes SE. :o  He said this on his latest Atmospheric Avenger on WeatherBELL premium. Perhaps I misunderstood him but I hope not. I did go back and listen to it twice to verify.

Why would you listen to Joe when we gave John here. Money back guarantee.

I hope John comes with an update on Monday.

Why would I only listen to one person? I think most weather enthusiasts listen to multiple sources and anything weather related.
