Well W101 as the years go you on you start getting use to it no need to fret it is what it is. Basically you enjoy whatever snow we get or decent winters, growing up with out fail we'd alway's get an over running event with a snowfall warning, now what do we get moderating temps. :wtf: down to 3.0c and what will happen as soon as it's cool enough to snow the moisture will shut off.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

This AR (lets call it AB = A. Blizzard) event turned into one of the most epic recent snowstorms for the SW interior. Massive snow accumulations on the snowtrain for ~36 hours straight.
EC had the Princeton forecast changing precip to rain, even had a forecast high of 5c yesterday (from day before), then kept scaling back the warmup. As it turned out, it never even changed over leading to massive accumulations
I will get an update from the Round Lake area and will post later today. Last i heard, there was about a foot of new at 3pm yesterday and it was coming down all evening as well.
This is massive amount for generally what is a dry precip area where 1-2" is a very common snowfall amount for a storm.
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

WIll get an update today for you guys. I'm heading up after the highways look better. Took my friend 7 hours for a 3 hour drive yesterday. He had to detour and take the #1 then back south thru Merritt and south towards Princeton. All highways throughout were buried in snow.

EC doesnt have it but i'm thinking we are getting some snow in the next few days. Catnip special type. I will be enjoying some heavy snow accumulations at the cabin  going sledding. Maybe will load some pics after or is that not encouraged??
