Yeah, though my Wednesday night total may be off by a couple mm's. I had to unclog my rain gauge. :x

Happy Solstice!

Lots of rain in the past couple of days, the creek is over flowing with rushing water but no Sardines  I walk the dog and often do a loop over a bridge and back through the creek in my tall boots glad I opted to skip that part today, it would have been a wet slosh home

Don't even pay attention to my rain gauge... needs to be replaced. The only accurate totals are the ones I post in the rainfall report thread.

Sorry to hear that Abby Sr. I thought something was off with your rain bucket, hoping Santa brings you a new rain bucket or in the New Year. I know it's not fun having to manually go out and read all the time. it just keeps raining moderately to heavy in south Sumas another 5.0mm since midnight, storm total 103.6mm, monthly total 176.6mm. interesting my temp. is falling slowly down to 3.1c now.

I've been manually measuring for 10 years straight now, so I don't mind that part... that's how I noticed the rain bucket was giving the wrong amounts in the first place. I would still continue manually measuring after I get a new one. I don't have confidence in this technology... too many ways it can fail.

Agreed 100% some stations even locally look suspect to me I had a manual gauge but left it out in Feb. and of course being glass it broke, I've been meaning to snag one off of Amazon but the Canadian site ones don't look good to me and the American site they want an arm and a leg on duties and they don't all read mm's plus they won't ship even with prime unless over $25.00 bucks. The one that broke was excellent I picked up at the new Rona in Mission.
