Kool, your readings are comparable to mine it looks like, I'm impressed with this station from Eccowitt half the price as a Davis unit. although my mini spec Stevenson screen cost the most but well worth it to achieve accurate readings IMBY.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

How do you ascertain that amount El Nito from your wheel you spin and come up with 14c and wet last Feb. it's currently down to 4.5c since this mornings low/high of 5.1c and 42.0mm in the rain bucket since midnight.

Imagine if you will if the Lower Mainland got hit with a snowstorm and YVR and Delta got 15 cm and North Vancouver got 0.5 cm! That's what happened with me yesterday! I live in a snowbelt that gets typically twice as much as snow as Vernon, and yet Vernon got 15 cm yesterday and I got just a trace (well, maybe 0.5 cm).

Anyway, moving on here, here are the current snow depths of highway stations...

Seriously, though, I think we will see more lowland snow at some point this winter.
More ? The only thing I've seen so far is a few flakes on my shoulders when wearing a black shirt.
