NWS says showery weekend and snows for mtns. Then a ridge for 3 or 4 days followed by another snow producing mtn storm late next week. We'll take it buttees. It's a start..baby steps. At least mtns are getting snow
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

Could Christmas at least not be rainy? Sunny with no snow is a good enough compromise. I also remember one Christmas back in the 90's that was foggy and cold... everything was coated in frost... it seemed like a White Christmas even if it wasn't. :)

Models are at least digging a massive trough which will bring some more Mountain snow next week.NPAC blocking looks to take hold by late Dec. This could bring a drying by xmas week.

I would peg the chances of a White Christmas at less than 5%...just see no pattern bringing lowland snow. I like the chances of a dry christmas though.

Unfortunately it's a tad warm and it's mixed rain/snow at the base area. Snow level seems to be about 150m above the base at Cypress. Snowing on most of the mountain though.
